Short biography:

I have now studied music for over 18 years, and have been performing concerts for around 16 years.
My musical background began at early childhood with very musically interested parents, though they were not professional musicians them selves.
My actual piano lessons started when I was eight years old with piano teacher Valeria Zanini and continued throughout my school years until I was thirteen. I then initiated lessons with Professor from The Royal Danish Academy of Music, Bohumila Jedlickova, who began teaching me basic technique and form with a more professional carer in mind. When I finished High school I decided in agreement with Bohumila that I should dedicate myself solely to the piano and study at The Royal Danish Academy, which I then did.
About three years later I felt I needed to explore other teaching methods in collaboration with my present teacher, so I then studied with Professor Jiri Hlinka (concert pianist Leif Ove Andsnes’s teacher) for a year in Oslo. This was very inspiring, fruitful and a wonderful supplement to my continued collaboration with Bohumila Jedlickova.
I have in the course of these years played a great deal of concerts, appeared on radio and television, and recorded my first CD.
Besides having obtained a basic and advanced/high level classical music education, were I have been working on most of the classical composers (described on the following pages), I have focused primarily on perfecting my interpretation of Frederic Chopin.
I am now finishing my final examination at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, summer 2006, and will be initiating a more extensive concert career as a soloist.
